Winthrop School Board meeting

The Winthrop School Board will recognize the Winthrop state champion field hockey team when it meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at the Town Office, 17 Highland Ave. The meeting is open to the public. Residents can also participate via Zoom. The link is at the top of the agenda attached below.
During the meeting, the Board will also discuss five proposed new high school electives -- digital photography, "History through Their Eyes," Geography, "Epic Quests and Alien Horizons," and topics in mathematics -- and new Board protocols. School trustees will also consider the superintendent's recommendation regarding remote school days and a policy for their remote participation in School Board meetings.
