Independence Day - Town Office & Bailey Library closed, fireworks at 9 pm

In observance of Independence Day, the Town Office and Bailey Library will be CLOSED on Thursday, July 4, 2024. Click here for a listing of online services.
The annual July 4th Fireworks display at Norcross Point begins at 9 pm. This event is sponsored by the Winthrop Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce and is produced by Central Maine Pyrotechnics. The Winthrop Police Department reminds all boaters that any boats docked in the Winthrop dock slips must be removed no later than 5 pm on July 4th (for setup and removal of fireworks).
